Islander Team Sports is owned and operated locally by John Roberts. John grew up on the peninsula and has been in the team sports business since 1979 after graduating CNU. His home is in Poquoson and he has been active in numerous community services including coaching and currently being involved with the Poquoson Business Alliance. Robbie Williams joined our sales team in the late `90`s , he coaches with Boo Williams AAU basketball and has proved to be a valuable asset to the team business. His sports knowlegde helps keep teams current with the latest trends and styles in the market place. The business goal for Islander Team Sports is to provide the very best sports equipment, team uniforms and casual sports wear, combined with first class customer service. No order is too small or too large!
